Definition
RSS is a family of Web feed formats used to publish frequently updated works such as blog entries, news headlines, audio, and video in a standardized format. It is nowadays the most frequently used form in distributing news headlines in the Internet. A Web site that wants to allow other sites to publish some of its content creates an RSS document and registers the document with an RSS publisher.
Use
1) A user can read RSS-distributed content using a RSS reader software (e.g. www.rssreader.com
or www.newsgator.com) where he enters the specific URL (e.g. www.makingcosmeticsblog.com) of all the websites he is interested in and offer RSS feeds.
2) Alternatively, a user can have RSS content directly uploaded into his personal account with My Yahoo, My Google, My MSN, or AOL etc. which all have web based RSS readers. You can see the list of providers by clicking on the orange RSS button. If you don’t yet have an account with one of these providers, you can set up one after clicking on the button.

It seems viscous but once melted and mixed with pigments it’s liquid and can be poured directly into the “olah” lip gloss tube. It can easily be pressed out of the tube and spreads nicely on lips. Our new Natural Lipstick Balm/Base with castor, olive and soybean oils & natural waxes is very moisturizing will protect lips for a long time. The pigments such as micas and d&c red colorants will disperse well and the stick has a good consistency. See Link
Two new additions to our bases! The cleansing gel is a foaming face cleanser that is exceptionally mild and can also be used for the dry and sensitive skin. The cream mask is very moisturizing and best used for dehydrated skin to replenish, but also for normal skin to keep it supple and healthy.
Actives that can be added to both of the bases are for example: aloe vera 10x concentrate, bacillus ferment, extract, organic marrubium extract, green tea extract, skintight AP, watermelon extract, edelweiss extract, lacto-ceramide… and fragrance. Up to 10% possible.
We have two new bases to offer. One is a Clay Mask, made with kaolin clay, oatmeal and allantoin, and the other is a cream cleanser with sunflower oil and oatmeal. These bases can be further customized by adding fragrance, vitamins, extracts etc!
Skin Shimmer Kit:
This light cream-gel with nourishing plant oil and sparkling mica pigments adds a little pizazz to your decoltee and evening outfit! The gel is moisturizing without being greasy and is absorbed quickly by the skin. The formulation does not require heating and is done in no time! Personalize it with your own fragrance!
Hair Mask Kit:
Creamy, softening hair conditioner that moistens thirsty hair, conditions stubborn hair, and adds shine and combability. Rice protein and sheabutter coat the hair shaft and protect it from dryness and environmental stress, contains also provitamin B5 that acts nourishing and moisturizing. You can choose your fragrance!

Just as important as the feel & smell of your product is it’s safety. When preservatives are used incorrectly or not used at all bacteria, yeast and mold can grow fast that will make your product unusable and your customers may be at risk for skin infections. Signs for this can be separation, discoloration and change in smell. At first the product can look fine but germs are growing silently and may be potentially dangerous before they are truly visible.
This easy test kit is important quality control of your finished products. Dip-slides enable simple sampling and evaluation of the results, even by personnel without any microbiological training. Special laboratory equipment is not necessary. The slide can be used for testing surfaces, semi-solid materials and liquids. Can be used with an incubator or without. Testing with incubation will take 3-5 days while without (room temperature) will take up to 7 days. Detailed description and pictures to evaluate results are included.
This item is a mild humectant and skin emollient with a unique skin feel. Additionally, it can contribute to the antimicrobial stability of cosmetics formulations and improves efficacy of traditional cosmetic preservatives. Glycols are known to be antimicrobial and show antimicrobial efficacy against typical germs found in cosmetic formulations.
It boosts the efficacy of traditional preservatives but shows also good results when used alone!

We carry now Bacillus Ferment Extract which is a mild enzyme that softens and exfoliates the skin ideal for the sensitive skin who does not tolerate AHA Fruit acids. Can be used in skin lotions but also in cleansers and masks.
Then we carry Organic Marrubium Extract also called Horehound Extract, extremely valuable ingredient for irritated skin, after-shave products, skin cleansers, but also after-sun lotions!
Then we also have new Premium Cream Bases. These bases are of high quality, and for different skin types too. They are an ideal base for all the many active ingredients that we carry. So if you just make products for you or if you run a small business these premium bases are a great way to start!
Another addition to our line of CreamMakers is our new CreamMaker CA-20, this blend of two emulsifiers gives superior creams and lotions that can tolerate a pH as low as 4! The ideal emulsifier system for all these active ingredients with a low pH. Can also be combined with CreamMaker Blend for example to create an exceptionally stable product over a wide pH range that has a high viscosity also.
